The article seems to be written by an author who was born in US and now lives in Tokyo.
I'm a little positively surprised to see there are already two comments posted by Americans(Judging from the flags) regarding the linked article. I hope all the people who are interested in shogi will have a chance to visit this blog.
Very interesting and weird. hahaha. The plot is fun to watch and I'm amused that they actually use Habu's pictures on the magazine in the show. But the only weird part is till the end of the show the main protagonist gained some kind of "superhero" power. If only playing real shogi is like that, it will probably attract lots of people. hahahaha.

Too bad they didn't show the full-detailed game of all the Shogi games. Otherwise the show could have been more interesting and I could have learn a few joseki and tesuji.

> Ryou Takehito,
It's a fiction drama for entertainment, not for shogi educational programm at all.

I know. I'm just saying it would be great if it did because it could show the viewers what is going on in the game and bring out tensions of the game instead of people. oh nevermind. =)
