The third game of the 70th Meijin-sen between Meijin Moriuchi and two crown Habu started at 9:00am(JST) in Spa Resort Hawaians in Iwaki city, Fukushima prefecture(Yes! That Fukushima. I assume it's now the most famous prefecture to people outside Japan). Here is the links to the Nico Nico Live.
Nico Nico Douga seems to have banned mirror streaming users last time. So it's highly likely for only paid users to be able to watch the program till the end.
I found a video which annotates the chess game between Peter Wells and Habu Yoshiharu played on October 24, 2005, at Essen Open on Nico Nico Douga. Though it is in Japanese, I think you can still watch the video below to enjoy how Habu effectively used the sacrificing technique probably based on his shogi carrier.
Here is the video about the 1st game of 51st Ou-i sen best of seven match between challenger Hirose Akihito(6-dan) and Ou-i Fukaura Koichi which HIDETCHI uploaded on YouTube.
Here it is. It's 24:14 video. The review of the game actually starts at 8:02. Please be advised that cars are to go on the left side of roads in Japan which is different from most of countries you live.
HIDETCHI uploaded his new Shogi News Video titled 51st Ou-i League, Challenger Deciding Match (HIROSE vs HABU) . Regardless you already know the result or not, it will be interesting to watch.
I found the following comment from an English teacher who seems to visit to Japan to teach English today. Interesting.
Thanks to you lessons I am winning a Shogi competition between me
and a Japanese English teacher I work with :D It's good too because now
he is studying Shogi more because he doesn't like being beaten at his
own countries game. Actually we are a really good level for each other.
We play games after school in the teachers office :)
