I found the following comment from an English teacher who seems to visit to Japan to teach English today. Interesting.
Thanks to you lessons I am winning a Shogi competition between me and a Japanese English teacher I work with :D It's good too because now he is studying Shogi more because he doesn't like being beaten at his own countries game. Actually we are a really good level for each other. We play games after school in the teachers office :)
Here is the video with the comment above.
That was me :o) I just finished playing my latest game with that teacher actually :oD! Also, at the staff party we had last week I found out that several of the other teachers in my school are actually really strong players. We're thinking of having a little staff room tournament ;oD I've recently downloaded the BCM shogi program which is absolutely fantastic! I love the Japanese voiced move feature!
Does anyone know where I can find a nice database of kifu that I can load into BCM? I've searched a little but so far I haven't found what I'm looking for. BCM can read .psn files and several other types I think. Any help would be greatly appreciated :o)
