Fukaura won the 4th game - 49th Oui-sen 4-win match

On August 6 and 7, the 4th game of 49th Oui-sen 4-win match between Oui Fukaura and Challenger Yoshiharu Habu took place at Banshoro in Nagasaki prefecture. Fukaura was Sente player and won the game in 123 moves. After the game, Fukaura leads the score in 3-1. From my point of view, this was a very unusual and strange game since Habu dropped a pawn only once in the game and Fukaura did not made any pawn move after 65th move and did not take any pawn after 55th move.

On July 31 and August 1, the 3rd game of 49th Oui-sen 4-win match between Oui Fukaura and Challenger Yoshiharu Habu took place at in Hyogo Prefecture. Fukaura was Gote player and won the game in 122 moves. After the game, Fukaura leads the score in 2-1. Fukaura found a brilliant mating line in the endgame.

Fukaura tied the score in 1-1 - 49th Oui-sen 4-win match

On July 23 and 24, the 2nd game of 49th Oui-sen 4-win match between Oui Fukaura and Challenger Yoshiharu Habu took place at Hotel Foresta in Toyota City of Aichi Prefecture. Fukaura was Sente player and won the game in 109 moves to tie the score in 1-1. They say Habu led the position in the middlegame but Fukaura turned it around sometime in the endgame.

Today is the day for the final 5th game of 79th Kisei-sen between Kisei Sato Yasumitsu and Challenger Habu Yoshiharu. The venu of the match is at Wakatsuki Bettei(in Japanese) in Ito City, Shizuoka prefecture. Before the game, the score is 2-2. The winner of this game will be the next Kisei title holder.

On July 14 and 15, the 1st game of 49th Oui-sen 4-win match between Oui Fukaura and Challenger Yoshiharu Habu took place at Hokuten no Oka in Abashiri City of Hokkaido. Habu became Sente player this game as a result of Furigoma and he won it in 97 moves. The opening strategy was itteson-kakugawari(Bishop exchange with Gote's one move delay). It was a very close game until the end.
