Prior to the Man vs Machine match between retired Yonenaga Kunio who is Permanent Kisei Bonkras who is the champion of World Computer Shogi Championship 2011 to be scheduled on January 14, 2012, a preliminary match between the same players will be hold at 19:00(JST) at T-Room in Tokyo Dojo of SC24. I would recommend you to login fairy earlier than the match-starting time since it is highly likely to be overfilled if you would like to watch the live game there. The allotted thinking time would be one minutes and both players will have to make a move less than 60 seconds per move after consuming the alloted time.
Bankras is Sente and Yonenaga is White. This is the same as the coming match with three hour allotted thinking time per player next year. They say Yonenaga will make a weird move at the second move if Bonkras makes P-7f as the first move.
For Japanese-speaking people, a live commentary show of the game is available to watch at Nico Nico Douga. The commentator is 9-dan Tanigawa Koji.
Was there any report about this match?
