Today is the day for the first game of best of three match of Shinjin-ou-sen(Rooki King Tournament) Final between Kaku Hakuyo(ama) and 4-dan Abe Kenjiro. Kaku used be in Shoreikai but retired due to the age limit. But he won the ama-tournament to be entitled to participate in this tournament this year and beat four professional players such as 5-dan Yasuaki Murayama, 4-dan Nagase Takuya, 5-dan Sato Amahiko, and 4-dan Nishikawa Kazuhiro to come to the final best of three match. As a result of Furigoma, Abe became Sente player. The allotted thinking time per player is three hours. So it will end around 5:00pm in Japan. The venue is at Tokyo Shogi Kaikan(JSA's building) in Sendagaya, Tokyo. You can watch and replay the game through the link below;
