The game started at 9:00am. Sato is Sente. The allotted thinking time per player is 4 hours and each will have to make a move less than 60 seconds per move after consuming it out. Before the game, the score is tied in 2-1 led by Sato. Since Kio-sen is best of five games, Kubo cannot lose any game to defend the title.
