Here is the duplicate of my twitter entries about 2nd game of 59th Osho-sen.
- Good shots of the endgame through the monitor in the press room. http://bit.ly/cH9Jv7 #shogi
- Extremely exciting endgame. #shogi http://bit.ly/cH9Jv7
- (1)K-4c Sx4d Kx4d G*3e K-4c G*4d(mate), (2)K-4c Sx4d K-3d G*3e K-2c G-2d(mate), (3)K-3a G*3b(mate)

- 120.Gx4b 121.Nx4b+ 122.Kx4b Almost mandatory.
- 119. G*4b, Check. Due to the diagonal line of the far Bishop on 7i. Gote's King will be mated.
- 118. Lx1b, Gote took the Tokin by lance.
- 117.+Px1b looks like a hisshi(brinkmate).
- 116. Gx4d 117.+Px1b, Both took their Rooks each other.
- 115. P-2c+(!) Pawn sacrifice with promotion neglecting the threat to lose the Rook on 4d.

- 113. N*5d, Check again.
- 112. G*4c, Gote dropped a Gold on 4c.
- 111. Rx4d, Check.

- 109. +Bx4d, Sente took the kNight on 4d with promoted BIshop.

- 102. S-7e, Gote tried to let this Silver take part in the attack and opened the King's escaping path to 7d.

- 100. +Px5h+ Gote took the Gold on 5h with pawn promotion.
- 99. P*6g, Sente dropped a Pawn on 6g to take the Silver on 6f neglecting the threat to lose the Gold on 5h.
- 98. S*5f, Gote dropped a Silver on 6g to connect with the kNight on 4e and increase the pressure on 6g.
- 97. +B-3e, Threatening to take the kNight on 4e.
- 96. K-6c, Gote's King is escaping to his upper space. Will it be trapped or not?
- 95. S*7a, This is threatmate such as +P-6b. If Gote took the Tokin by Kx6a, mate would exist like G*6b,
- 94. Kx7b, Gote took the sacrificing Tokin.
- 93. +P-7b(!) Sente tried to sacrifice the Tokin on 6c.

- 88. +Px5h, Gote neglected the sacrificing pawn on 6d and took the Gold on 5h.
- gpsshogi_en [(87) P*6d] * Gote would be in threatmate if Sente had an extra piece of SILVER.
- 87. P*6d(!), Sente neglected 86.P-5g+ and dropped a sacrificing pawn on the head of the Silver on 6c.
- 86. P-5g+ Gote made a Tokin on 5g. It's supported by the kNight on 4e.
- 85. +P-6a, Sente's Tokin approached Gote's King. #shogi http://bit.ly/cH9Jv7
- 84. N-4e, Gote's left kNight jumped to 4e to aim at P-5g+. It's going to be a race of approaching the Kings each other.
- 83. P-5a+ At last, Sente succeeded in making a Tokin on 5a.
- If Gote took the Pawn on 6c by S7d-6c, then G*6a would be severe.
- 82. Sx6c, Almost mandatory.
- 81. P*6c, Sente dropped a sacrifice pawn on the head of the Silver on 6b to make Tokin on 5a.

- 76. S-6b, Gote prevented Sente from making Tokin on 5a with this Silver move.
- Photos of afternoon snacks. Upper for Habu(Strawberry). Lower for Kubo. http://bit.ly/bJknHA #shogi
- Gote can have a Rook or Bishop in hand by dropping a Silver on 2e.
- 75. P*5b, Sente dropped a Pawn on 5b to make Tokin. If Gote took it by Sx5b, it would be far away from his King to guard.
- 74. Sx6a, Gote took back the promoted Silver. It's mandatory.
- 73. +Sx6a, Sente took the Gold. Generally, taking a Gold is better than taking a Silver.
- 72. N*4d, Gote dropped a kNight on 4d to block the diagonal line of the promoted Bishop on 2f.
- 71. +S-6b, Since Gote's Rook's horizontal line was blocked by 70.G-3b, this promoted Silver attack became possible.
- Sente's bishop has become possible to go to 3e from 7i. Wow!
- 70. G-3b, Gote protected the kNight with this Gold advancement.
- 69. Rx3d, Sente took the Pawn by the Rook. If Gote's kNight jumped to 4e, then he could take the Gold on 3a with Rook promotion.
- 68. R-1b, Gote's Rook escaped horizontally.
- 67. S-5c+, The Silver got promoted. It's supported by the promoted Bishop.
- 66. Rx5b, Gote took the sacrificing pawn by his Rook, not by the Gold.
- 65. P*5b, Sente droopped a sacrificing pawn on the head of Gote's Rook.
- 64. N-3c, Gote activated his left kNight to 3c which seemed to plan to jump to 4e to realize P-5g+. It looks a good move.
- 63. G5g-5h, The Gold escaped from the Pawn on 5f which was almost mandatory.
- 62. P*5f, Gote dropped a Pawn on 5f to make an attacking base on the 5th file.
- 61. Gx5g, Sente took back the promoted Pawn by the Gold.
- 60. Px5g+, Gote took the pawn on 5g with promotion.
- 59. B-7i, Sente activated the idling Bishop on 8h to increase protection on the square of 5g.
- 58. P-5f, Gote started to make his Rook work better with this pawn advancement.
- @hirohiigo After â–²+Bx7d â–³Px7d â–²Bx5e., I think â–³P*6c â–²Sx6c+ â–³Rx5e, then White would win the game.
- 57. +B-2f, Sente transferred his promoted Bishop to the right side. Its diagonal line reaches the square of 7a. #shogi http://bit.ly/cH9Jv7
- Lunch time break of 2nd game of 59th Osho-sen started at 12:30 for one hour. The game will restart at 1:30pm #shogi
- Photos of the hot drinks during play in the morning. Coffee for Habu, Cocoa for Kubo. http://bit.ly/95fmh2 #shogi
- 56. S7f-6e, Gote pulled back his Silver on 7f to 6e to control the central area.
- 55. P*7g, Sente dropped a Pawn on 7g to put away the Silver on 7f. But his Bishop on 8h lost the mobility except for B-7i.
- 54. Sx7f, Gote took the pawn on the 7th file.
- 53. +B-5i, Sente's Horse(promoted Bishop) escaped far away from Gote's Silvers.
- Gote's 50.S*7d was not predicted in the press room reportedly, but @gpsshogi_en predicted it. http://bit.ly/d87Q8w #shogi
- 52. S*8e, Gote dropped the other Silver to give pressure on Sente's promoted Bishop.
- 51. +B-8f, Almost mandatory.
- 50. S*7d, Gote dropped a Silver on 7d threatening to take the promoted Bishop on 8e.
- 49. Sx6d, Sente took the sacrificing Pawn. I think Gote will start to try to make his Rook work better from here.
- 48. P*6d, Gote dropped a sacrificing Pawn on the head of the Silver on 6e. If Sente took it, Gote would be able to trade central pawns.
- Photos of the restart of the game in this morning. Left=Habu Right=Kubo. Center=Yashiki as the official watchman http://bit.ly/bredyT #shogi
- 47. Rx2d, Sente took the Pawn on 2d by his Rook. His Rook is working better.
- Photos of meals for both players. First two are dinner yesterday. The third one is breakfast before restart. http://bit.ly/9reJ6T
- 5-dan Tobe Makoto said reportedly, "I think the current position is even." http://bit.ly/cH9Jv7 #shogi
- 46. R-5a, Gote put his Rook back to A-row. He didn't mind Sente's taking the pawn by Rx2d.
- 45. B-8e+, Sente's Bishop escaped from the Gold on 3a and got promoted. I think Gote should prevent Sente's Rx2d in the next move.
- 44. G-3a, Gote's Gold escaped from the Bishop on 4a.
- Photos of the sealed move yesterday. The official watchman is 9-dan Yashiki Nobuyki. http://bit.ly/bRa8Be #shogi
- 43. B*4a, Sente dropped a Bishop threatening to take the Gold on 3b. This was a top candidate by a computer program reportedly.
- 42. Rx5c, Gote took the promoted kNight which was mandatory.
- 41. Nx5c+ Habu's sealed move was taking the Bishop as everybody expected.
- Day 2 of 2nd game of 59th Osho-sen started at 9:00am. http://bit.ly/cH9Jv7 #shogi
- The Day1 of the 2nd game of 59th Osho-sen finished. Day 2 will start at 9:00am tomorrow. #shogi http://bit.ly/cH9Jv7
- Habu made the 43d move sealed. But everybody is sure it is Nx5c to take the Bishop. Only question is promoted or not promoted.
- It seems that Habu will seal the next move though it'd mandatory to take the Bishop on 5c by his kNight. #shogi http://bit.ly/cH9Jv7
- 40. Bx5c, Gote took the SIlver by his Bishop. Gote will take a Silver and a kNight for a Bihsop.
- 39. S*5c, Sente dropped a Silver on 5c threatening to take the Bishop on 4b to save both his kNight on 4e and Silver on 6e.
- And Sente's Silver on 6e is in danger since it'd be killed if Gote dropped a Pawn on 6d. Sente should be busy now. http://bit.ly/cH9Jv7
- 38. B-4b, Gote's Bishop escaped from the kNight on 4e to 4b to keep preventing Sente's Rook from taking the Pawn on 2d and aimed at P-4d.
- 37. N-4e, Sente's kNight jumped to 4e threatening to take the Bishop n 3c.
- At the position at the 36th move, it's materially balanced since both have a Silver and a pawn in hand. #shogi http://bit.ly/cH9Jv7
- 36. R-5a, Gote's Rook escaped from the Silver on 6e.
- 35. Sx6e, Sente took the pawn on 6e threatening to take the Rook on 5d.
- 34. Rx5d, Gote took back the Silver by his Rook. Instead of 34.Rx5d, Px6f would have invite Sente's attack such as S*6c.
- 33. Sx5d, Sente took the Silver on 5d decisively.
- Habu seems to spend a long time to make the 33rd move. It seems a critical position for both players. #shogi http://bit.ly/cH9Jv7
- 32. P-6e, Gote advanced the pawn on the 6th file to 6e threatening to take the Silver on 6f.
- Kubo seemed to take a long time to make 32nd move. #shogi http://bit.ly/cH9Jv7
- Photo of afternoon snacks for Habu. #shogi #habu http://bit.ly/9VEj2A
- Photos of the restart after lunch break. Lots of junior high school students visited the playing room. http://bit.ly/9xuBn5 #shogi
- If Sent had a Silver in hand, S*4a would be a good forking Silver drop. That's why he offered Silver trade at 31st move. #shogi
- 31. S-4e, What a simple offer to trade Silvers!
- 30. Px2d, It seems a natural move to take the sacrificing pawn.
- 29, P-2d(!), The battle started with this Rook pawn sacrifice. #shogi http://bit.ly/cH9Jv7

- 17. K-7h, Sente moved his King to the opposite side of his Rook again.

- 6. R-5b, As expected by many people, Kubo transferred his Rook to the Central file. http://bit.ly/cH9Jv7

- 2.P-3d, Kubo's response was to open the diagonal line of his Bishop. It's natural since he likes Furibisha(Ranging Rook).
- Habu's first move was P-2f, advancing his Rook pawn. He showed he would choose Ibisha(Static rook) at his first move.
