It's not announced officially at the time of last weekend, but the following two games are available to watch now.
Chiba will be the challenger if she beats Honda and the loser of the socond game will go down to B-League. The allotted thinking time per player is 2 hours and each player will have to make a move less than 60 seconds per move.
So what now? Chiba lost, so she is now 7-2... Did Satomi or Iwane catch up to her? Their matches are played 12/2 as well... It's possible to have 3 people tied at 7-2 isn't it? If so, how will they decide who becomes the challenger?

Yeah, the three players are paralleled with the score of 7-2. The play-off to decide the challenger will be held among them as below;
December 7, Chiba vs Iwane
December 10, Satomi vs the winner of the above
This parings reflect on their performance last year such as 2nd place for Satomi, 3rd Place for Chiba and 5th place for Iwane.
