In the previous championships there were amateurs versus computers exhibitions games. This year the exhibitions games were cancelled. Did you want to see an exhibition game this year? How strong do you think, is the winner GPS Shogi?

I did not want it so strongly. I think you know better than me about how strong the GPS is. I have not followed the stories about the GPS in details due to time constraint.

Is a strong computer Shogi program that is able to beat professional players bad for Shogi?

I don't think so as long as shogi is not solved completely. If it is, then the existence of professional players will be in trouble.
