The followings are my comments on the moves for the 2nd game of 67th Meijin-sen between Meijin Habu(Sente) and Goda (9 dan). I found Goda made the 46th move of N-3c just before the end of Day1. So Habu made a sealed move accordingly though it's missed in my comments below. The comments are put in a descending order.
- It seems Goda is going to make a sealed move.
- 45. P-9f, Habu did not seem to build anaguma. If he would like to, it's good to reserve advancing this edge pawn.
- 44. S5c-4b, Goda strengthened his Yagura castle.
- 43. L-1h, Escaped from Gote's Bishop's diagonal line.
- 42. P-8e Gave a pressure on the head of Sente's King.
- 41. R-3h This is the preparation for entering into hostilities to begin with P-3e after kNight Jump to 2e.

- 40. S-2d, The Silver escaped from Sente's possible N-2e in advance.
- 39. P-2f, Sente advanced Rooked pawn to support the square of 2e where the kNight on 3g would jump to later.
- 38. P-1d Gote responded to advance his Kingside edge pawn. It's good not to allow vanguard edge pawn when Sente's kNight is on 3g.
- 37. P-1f Advanced edge pawn on the other side.
- 36. P-9d Advanced edge pawn.
- 35. N-3g, This was the follow-up to the previous S-4f.
- 34. S-5c, This was a defensive move. If Gote moved his Silver 7c instead of 5c, then Gote's formation would be more offensive.
- 33. S-4f Silver advancement to make Sente possible to jump the kNight on 2i to 3g.
- 32. Gote did the same.
- 31. K-8h Completed Yagura Castle.
- 30. P-7d, It made Gote's Bishop possible to go back to 7c.
- 29. K-7i It's a natural move to enter Sente's King into the Yagura castle.
- 28. K-3a Gote was entering his King into the Yagura castle to 2b.
- 27. B-6h, Gave up trading pawns on 3e and made Sente possible to enter his King to the Yagura castle through 7i to 8h.
- 26. B-6d Prevented Sente from trading pawns on 3e.
- 25. S-3g Sente advanced his Silver to 3g. If Gote did nothing, then pawn trade on 3e by Bishop was sente's aim.
- 24. Gote did the same.
- 23. G5h-6g, Sente completed placing generals on the regular positions for Yagura castle.
- 22. P-4d This made Gote possible to move his Gold on 5b to 4c to build Yagura castle.
- 21. P-3f This made Sente possible to advance his Silver or kNight to 3g.
- 20. B-3a Developing Gote's Bishop to his right, too.
- 19. B-6i Developing Sente's bishop to the right.
- 18. S-3c Gote seemed to give up quick attack since this move blocked his Bishop's diagonal line.
- 17. S-7g Building Yagura Castle.
- 16. G-5b, Look at the location of Gote's two gold. They were not on the path of his Bishop.
- 15. K-6i, Sente did the same.
- 14. K-4a Started moving Gote's King to his left side.(opposite side of his Rook).
- Don't put your Gold on the path of your Bishop is one of the shogi secrets in the opening.
- 13. G-7h, Look at the location of the two Golds. It's not on the possible path of the Bishop on 8h.
- 12. G-3b Gote followed double Yagura.
- 11. G4i-5h Sente was making Yagura castle.
- 10. S-4b A Natural Silver advancement.
- 9. S-4h, It's a natural move. It gave Sente wider choice for Silver advancement to 5g, 4g or 3g than S-3h instead.
- 8.B-5d, Gote had an option to trade his pawns on 5e by using his Bishop on 2b since Sente's Bishop's diagonal line was blocked.
- 7.P-5f It's a natural move to prepare for Bishop development such as B8h-7i later.
- 6.S-6b This made Gote to advance Silver to 5c, 6c, or 7c afterwards. It gave wider choice than S-7b.
- 5.P-6f Blocking Gote's Bishop's diagonal line to prevent him from trading bishops.
- 4. P-3d, It's a natural move of opening Gote's Bishop's diagonal line.
- 3.S-6h Habu offered Yagura strategy with this move, though there was possibility for him to take Furibisha(ranging Rook).
- 1. P-7f Habu opened his Bishop's diagonal line. 2. P-8d Goda showed he would choose Ibisha(static Rook) strategy.
