Today I read the following post to shogi-l.

The classic bilingual book "Better Moves for Better Shogi" has been reprinted by Sam Sloan and is available (I'm told) at Barnes and Noble online. It is an excellent book by Pro 9 Dan (now) Aono and one that I learned much from when it first appeared a quarter century ago.(posted by Larry Karfman)
