Today is the day for the 1st game of 33rd Kio-sen 3-win match between Kio Sato Yasumitsu and Challenger Habu Yoshiharu(2 crowns). The game started at 9:00 am in Japan. As a result of Furigoma, Habu became a Sente(black) player. The thinking time per player is 4 hours and less than 60 seconds per move after consuming it. I think it will end early this evening. You can replay and watch the game through the linked page below;
It's amazing to see Habu-san win again but I got a weird thought in my mind,
On move no. 109, why didn't sente drop his gold piece on 3b? I don't see any piece can capture gold thus forcing a checkmate on next move. Do you care to explain?

Ryou, You need to see carefully where the diagonal line of the Gote's Bishop on 2b goes to understand why Sente did not drop a Gold on 3b. If Habu did it, he lost it immediately due to illegal move:-)

Oh. My bad. I didn't see the bishop forking on the King. That is really a good move.
Thanks for letting me notice it.
