Like Shigure said, we played 4 games. Before playing he asked if I want to help in his training for shorekai exam. Of course I agreed and we ended 2:2.

I think this indicated the top level of European players is equivalent to the level to pass Shoreikai examination.

The game started at 9:00am yesterday at Isuien in Tokushima City, Tokushima prefecture. Hirose transferred his Rook to the 6th file and build Anaguma. Fukaura was expected to build Anaguma, too. But he suddenly advanced the vanguard pawn on the central file and trade his defensive kNight for Hirose's left Silver on Day 1. Fukaura sealed the 50th move. Today is the day for the first game of 23rd Ryuo-sen challenger deciding best of three match between Meijin Habu Yoshiharu and 2 crown Kubo Toshiaki. In the final Ryuo-knock-out tournament, Habu beat  9-dan Fujii Takeshi and 7-dan Akutsu Chikara while Kubo defeated 9-dan Goda Masataka and 9-dan Maruyama Tadahisa to compete the best of three match with each other. As a result of Furigoma, Kubo became Sente player. The allotted thinking time per player is 5 hours so it will end late evening. The venue is at JSA building in Sendagaya, Tokyo. It started at 10:00am. Kubo transferred his Rook to 7th file and advanced vanguard pawn there to form Ishida-ryu. You may replay and watch the game through the link below;
