There is a room for one more country's entry. It will start from this August.
We will start registration for the 1st Relay Shogi World Cup.
The system will be a knock-out.
8 countries can participate.
-Find 4 players from your country to make the team.
-Each country can have only one team.
-The total 81Dojo Rating in the team must not exceed 4500 at the time of registration.
-The product of all 4 players' ratings must not exceed 2.0x10^12 at the time of registration.
(R1/1000)*(R2/1000)*(R3/1000)*(R4/1000) < 2.0
-A provisional rated player (less than 10 rated games) is regarded as R=1200.
-If a player in the team becomes unavailable for a long time during the tournament period, you can find substitute player then.
-A country that cannot find 4 players is allowed to hire 1 foreigner from nearby country. However, he must not play in other team.
-Each team shares the same team account that is officially provided by 81Dojo.
-Choose "Relay Tournament" when creating a game.
-You must decide the playing order before the game. (Do not change order after seeing the opponent's order.)
-Time rule will be 45min + 60sec, rated.
-81Dojo client will automatically notify in GameChat Window each time either team must switch players. (Black team switches players after 9th, 29th, 49th, 69th, 89th,,,, move. White team switches players after 20th, 40th, 60th, 80th, 100th,,, move.)
-You must switch players in 60 seconds after it is notified by 81Dojo client.
-When switching players, the next player makes an "override login" with the team account. The previous player will be automatically disconnected. After the override login, you find the game from the GameList and reconnect to the game.
-If the other team also accidentally disconnects while switching players, the game will end as a draw due to 81Dojo configuration. In this case, the other team loses.
-You must not discuss or read comments while you are the one that is playing.
-However, other three team members who are not playing are allowed to discuss while watching, either in GameChat or PrivateChat.
-When your opponent team is switching, you can either wait until they switch and then make your move, OR, make your move before they switch. Both options have good and bad. The former prevents the opponent team from discussing the very next move before switching. But the latter saves your thinking time.
To register, please reply with:
-Country Name
-Names of 4 players and their current rating
