I got to know this by receiving an email from Dr. R. Gralla. Here is the copy of it. (Remark by me :Habu lost the Meijin title last June, though he has been already entitled to be Permanent Meijin after his retirement. The current Meijin is Moriuchi. )
YOSHIHARU HABU - ONE OF HIS GAMES OF INTERNATIONAL CHESS HAS BEEN HAILED AS BEING "GAME OF THE DAY JULY 30th, 2011"
By Dr. René Gralla, Hamburg, Germany
Yoshiharu Habu - the life-time Meijin - is the Larger Than Life All-Time-Hero of Strategic Gaming. Yoshiharu Habu is brilliant not only in Shogi, but in International Chess as well.
The mastermind of the US-American web portal Chessgames.com - Mr. Daniel Freeman who is based in Pompano Bech, Florida and who, by trailing the German No. 1 web portal ChessBase.com, is running the No. 2 data bank world-wide on International Chess with nearly 600.000 games that can be put on display and that can be discussed in the forum)- has paid tribute to Yoshiharu Habu's brilliant performance in international chess by hailing one of his games of international chess as being the "GAME OF THE DAY JULY 30th, 2011".
It is a thunderous power play by Yoshiharu who has crushed Bosnian Grandmaster Predrag Nikolic at Bruxelles in 2007 by boldly sacrificing the Queen, the strongest piece in International Chess.

The commentaries in the forum of www.chessgames.com have been enthusiastic: they range from "This is chess, an all time nuggett" (posted by SEVENSEAMAN) to "This is Samurai chess!" (posted by RIVERBEAST).
Therefore these good news are excellent propaganda for the Japanese culture of Strategic Gaming - and thus for SHOGI, in the end.
One more masterpiece by the Master of the Masters, Yoshiharu Habu-Meijin.
