On January 25, the 1st game of 35th Joryu-Meijini-sen 3-win match between Joryu Meijin Yauchi and Challenger Joryu Osho Shimizu was held at Unazuki International Hall Selene in Kurobe City, Toyama prefecture. As a result of Furigoma, Shimizu became Sente player in this game. The opening strategy was Shimizu's Migi(right)-shikenbisha. Yauchi's countermesure was to transfer her rook to the 4th file as well. I was a little surprised since Yauchi usually play static Rook(Ibisha) opening. Shimizu led the position in the middlegame, but Yauchi persisted for a long time and finally turned it around. She won the game in 196 moves.
The diagram below is the resignation one where Gote dropped her Gold on 7g as threatmate. After the position in the diagram, the followig variations would be possible. Sente would be hopless in any cases.
