Thanks so much for linking this! I have been playing shogi for only a year or two and I am nowhere near dan level, but I must admit that the thought of a dan diploma on my wall next to my university diploma is something that helps motivate me to study and play. Hopefully someday I will have one to display! I wonder, though - do they write foreign names on the diplomas using the Latin alphabet?
